Hierarchies are essential tools for organizing and presenting information effectively. Power BI, with its powerful capabilities, allows users to create hierarchies that provide a structured approach to explore and analyze data at various levels of detail.
Create Hierarchy:
- Expand the Table>click(three dots at right hand side) on the column(on which to create hierarchy)>Create hierarchy
We can add more fields to City hierarchy by simply drag and drop one column over the other.
Rename Hierarchy:
Click on the Hierarchy>From context menu select Rename, or you can simply double click
Delete Hierarchy:
Select from context menu delete from model
